I played the game way too long first day it came out i went out to get the special edition, so excited that i could play a fish-person and do whatever i wanted out of the star wars universe i took on quickly to creature handler (obviously, the pet class) i loved it, and the class to death,and palyed it for over 2 years...then with this new update, they simply plucked it out of the game, weeks notice, YOINK, my 2 years of hard work, and all the pets i knew and loved, gone, then so was I.
it became a watered down cookiee cutter jedi fest, may as well play jedi outcast or the like..even in my last days after cancelling that i still had payed for,i was roped into jedi because they also removed all teh other melee classes.
the game is dead, noone plays anymore, the forums are up in flames, the game will probably fall within a few months if they keep this system..
there was also the uproar of SOE dangling pretty toys in front of everyones faces,things specificly for classes taht were planned to be removed.a special collar, just for creature handlers, was said to be in the game.
that never existed.
a week after that announcement,they announce their plans for the game, the SECOND huge overhaul. all the classes were removed, and replaced with 9 generic one-way-up-a-ladder style cookiee cutters. game over for them.
now its just a matter of what they want to do,relize theyre losing money, and change it back, or milk it for the little its still worth and shut it down. im not expecting the first to be honest, SOE is comprised of a bunch bunch of arrogant *****s.
sigh...id kill for the old game back.. im glad i was also playing EVE for over a year and a half or else id have no MMORPGs left to play, and would have probably given up on them... (i even tried WoW..dear god..what a steaming load of ****)
